Two main types of conditioning: Classical and Operant.

Classical- A stimulus is paired with a response.

Operant- Learning is achieved through rewards and punishments.

B.F. Skinner- Invented the “Skinner Box.”

John B. Watson-Performed the “Little Albert” experiment.

Ivan Pavlov- Best known for his work in classical conditioning

Key Figures

Did extensive research on physiology and digestion.

Won 1904 Nobel Prize in Physiology.

Developed the term conditional reflex through a series of experiments including dogs and stimulus's.
