Greetings Birth Parent(s),

We would like to thank you for taking the time to consider us as a prospective adoptive family for your child. We realize that this must be a very difficult time for you; know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers throughout this process. It is our hope that should you honor us by selecting Hilaire and myself to care for and raise the child that you will bring / recently brought into this world; you will be able to find comfort in the fact that this young life will be tended to with unwavering devotion and love.

Hilaire and I have been walking together through this journey of life for almost 10 years now. We are very fortunate that our love and commitment to each other only seems to grow and strengthen over the years. It is so comforting to say that Hilaire and I are not only husband and wife, but also the best of friends and adventuring compan-ions.

We have a large and very close-knit family of which most of the members live in Western Michigan. All of them are excited to welcome a new child into the family and lavish them with attention, affection and love. Because Hilaire currently works part-time (with plans to take some time off after welcoming our new family member), I work at home and our network of nearby family; we plan on not having to utilize any type of day care.

Our home is on a lovely, wooded 2-acre plot in the safe and quiet community of Walker. Here we spend evenings together tending the garden and flowerbeds. We enjoy taking strolls through the woods nearby with our elderly Jack Russell, Luna and having bonfires with our friends and family in the back yard. Our family also fortunate enough to have a ‘cabin’ up North where we enjoy biking the Hart/Montague trail and kayaking the local waterways. In the rare instances where we want to take it easy, we enjoy watching superhero movies, board games and some retro arcade/pinball games.

Lastly, Hilaire and I believe in the sanctity of all life both human, animal and plant. We have dedicated much of our time together toward showing compassion towards those in need. Family members, nursing homes and animal rescues have all received significant amounts of our time and effort in hopes of lifting the spirits and burdens of other lives in less fortunate circumstances as our own. We have opened our home and our hearts to provide care to multiple elder-ly / special needs animals. It is our goal to live with as little negative impact to the world around us as possible, to that effect we are vegetarians who grow and make as much of the food we eat and products we use as we can.

For our careers, Hilaire is a pet-grooming instructor at a world-renowned school locally. Michael is a senior developer/analyst for a Fortune 1000 Company with a global footprint.. but as you can already tell, our lives encompass so much more that just what we choose to do for a living.
