Parental Supervision Dear Parents,

Summer holidays are that time of the year when you get an opportunity to spend lots of quality time with your child.
Personality Development Inculcate Following good habits in your child.
Life Skills
Buttoning/ unbuttoning of their clothes. Laying the table for dinner let them count number of plates, spoons, glasses and bowls etc. Polishing and arranging shoes in the shoe rack. Packing school bag. Keeping belongings in place.
Social Skills
Listen to others. Obey your elders. Greet the visitors with a smile. Speak politely. Personal Hygiene Brush teeth twice a day. Comb hair regularly. Take a bath daily. Wash hands before and after meals. Trim nails and keep them clean.
Communication Skills
When your child starts a conversation, give your full attention whenever possible.
Make sure that you have your child's attention before you speak.
While shopping for groceries, discuss with your child what you will buy, how many you need, and what
you will make. Discuss the size (large or small), shape (long, round, square), and weight (heavy or light) of
the packages.Help them to notice manufacturing date, expiry date and different colours of dots.It will
enhance the communicative skills and thinking out of the box.
Discuss good nutrition habits with a food pyramid. Start naming the food groups when you serve them.
Talk to your child about dark clouds, thunder and lightning.
Plant a tree together. Talk about what plants need to grow (Sun, water etc.)
Play games with your child such as "house." Exchange roles in the family, pretending to be the child. Talk
about the different rooms and furnishings in the house.
Good Manners
Use magic words like “Sorry”, “Please”, “Thank You”, “Excuse Me”. Eat food without spilling.

Practice makes a man perfect Dear parents guide and support your child by boosting his/her confidence and taking ownership to get the work done by the child.
Written practice of small cursive letters covered so far on regular basis.
Written practice of counting 1-40 on regular basis. Visit school website/feebank for oral syllabus (July-September) Kindly send one new note book of English and Maths after vacation. Cover and label the notebooks properly.

syllabus. It should be of 10-12 lines. Judgmentwill be done on the basis ofselection of the poem and the presentation (Voice modulation& confidence).

Learn to set curd from your mother and observe the change. Stay cool and set custard icecream with help of your mother. Colour Splash:- Mix any two primary colours and create a secondary colour.
Card Making Father’s Day is on June16, 2019 (Sunday). Make this day special and memorable. Take your mother for a nature walk, observe the beautiful plants around. Collect leaves of different sizes and shapes. Take your mother’s help and make a beautiful card for your father and surprise him.
Letter Collection Collect items that start with the first letter of your child’s name. Paste your child’s photograph in the center of circle and the related pictures around it. For Example: Name of the child is Balkirat Kaur . You can collect pictures of ball, bat, bed, balloon, brinjal etc.

God has created a beautiful nature forus. It is our responsibility to protect it.
