Joining IIA when I first entered the internal audit profession proved to be a pivotal career decision. As a member, I benefitted by tapping into IIA’s resources such as sharing of professional standards and practices, and participating in the various courses, talks and seminars that continuously provided authoritative knowledge and guidance. And what I really appreciate about IIA is the motto for Progress through Sharing. This played a critical role in cultivating my passion for internal auditing and today, I stand proud as an Internal Auditor and of course, a member of IIA.

As a member of the IIA (Singapore Chapter), I have been able to keep abreast of developments in the internal auditing profession which is important to help me stay relevant and effective. Also, through participation in some of the events organised by IIA (Singapore Chapter), I have benefitted from the networking opportunities and best practice sharing.
