Choose the “Health Topics” linkto view the listings of available

health information.

Choosing “Children and Teenagers”under “Demographic Groups”

reveals a listing of resources for that age group.

Looking through the list we choose

“Asthma in Children”.

Following the link

leads us to additional information.

Following links under “Disease Management”

reveals some information that can help

parents and others dealing with

asthmatic children.

Another link brings up

information from the Mayo Clinic.

We can also

use

the simple

search form

to locate

information

through

Medline

Plus

The results display general information

concerning asthma and additional links

of information on the Web.

Here we find a resource from the Environmental

Protection Agency (EPA).

This resource is a help for children and

caregivers discussing triggers responsible for

asthma attacks.

We have added “Children”

to focus the search.

There is a link that provides an article

from The Journal of the American

Medical Association (JAMA).

Adding “school” to our search returns a new list focused on asthmatic children in school, leading to more excellent resources.
