MCPEAKETECHNICALRIDERTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum stage/performance size= 10m wide + 6 deep + 1m high
• Sound System: Must be absolutely NOISE FREE, no system hums, buzzes, etc. Mix Position must never be in a booth and needs to have clear sight lines to stage. System must provide full, even audience coverage with front fills, balcony fills, etc. as needed.
• House System Engineer must be knowledgeable of all aspects of house system, including monitors, and must be present from time of load-in to time of load-out.
• F.O.H.- Midas Pro 2 or Pro 2-C, Yamaha CL5, CL3, Digidesign/Avid Venue, Profile SC48 or Minimum 32 mono input channels, 4-stereo inputs, 4-subgroups, 4-mute groups, 8-aux sends (pre/post assignable on each channel), HPF (sweepable = highly preferred), 4 band parametric EQ on each channel. NO BEHRINGER
• IF AN ANALOGUE DESK IS PROVIDED - Outboard at F.O.H.-31 band EQ’s for all outputs-including monitor sends, if at F.O.H. All system processing must be available to band engineer. Effects/Dynamics-3 pro effects units (TC, Yamaha etc.), 8 pro compressors (dbx, KT, Drawmer), 2 pro gates- all with proper + noiseless cabling.
• Monitors: The band and their engineer would highly prefer an isolated snake split and separate monitor board/monitor tech whenever possible. Board should have the same capabilities as F.O.H. The Band’s current line-up needs: 7-matching 12” or 15” wedges + Cue, 7-matching amplifiers, processing etc. + Cue. There are a maximum of 7 mixes. Absolute minimum mixes is Five (5).
• • Backline to be supplied by venue –
22” Kick drum (set-up for rock with sound hole, baffles, pillow etc.); 16” Floor Tom; 14” Snare; 12” Rack Tom 1 10” Rack Tom 2 Drum rug; DW5000 or similar kick pedal; Drum Throne; Cymbal stands (boom type) x 3 Cymbals – 14” Hi-Hats, 20” Ride, 17” & 18” Crashes Hi-Hat Stand; Drum Riser – 3m x 3m minimum Bass Amp: Either Ampeg or Ashdown, 300-500 watts with 2 x 10” speaker cab 1 High Stool (with back/NO ARMS); Keyboard: Either - Nord Stage 2 / Yamaha CP300 / Roland RD7000 / Kawai MP Series, or Fully Weighted Professional Keyboard with midi out Sustain Pedal with Polarity Switch Keyboard Stand
• Microphones Needed: 3 x Shure SM58; 3 x Shure SM57; 3 x Shure SM81; 3 x Sennheiser 604 or 904; 1 x Shure B52.
• Direct Boxes Needed: 2 x Stereo passive Radial; 3 x Mono passive Radial.

• Stands Needed: ALL TRIPOD TYPE; 8 x Tall boom/extendable arms; 4 x Short boom/extendable arms.
• LIGHTING
• A lighting sheet will be provided to help with individual track highlights.
• A knowledgeable and professional lighting director to run the lights from the start of sound check through the end of the performance.
• Please use the attached stage plot for reference of focus. We expect a professional looking
lighting show with color changes to fit the “mood” of each song
