This is a Motion to Stay Proceedings filed by Counsel for Defendant, Joshua Alemond, whereby he requests the case be delayed for some 400 days or until he returns from military duty. The request does not meet requirements of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. I believe this is a delay tactic by the defense.I will be posting my answer to this motion shortly.
