After entering the site, you will see this screen:

The student will then need to name their comic and type their own name in

the text fields.

•The student will need to choose a character from the grid.

•The character will appear in the box to the left of the character grid.

The student can then choose an ‘emotion’ for the character by clicking the left or right

arrows.

•Next, the student will need to click on the box (Menu Window) to the left of the grid.

•The character(s) will then appear in the comic.

•The student can then choose from a variety of options in which to manipulate their

character.•The most commonly used options are move,

scale(changes character’s size), and flip.•The student will need to choose an option before

clicking on their character.

•Additional characters can be added to the frame at any point in creating the comic.

•Also, to add characters to another panel simply, click on the next panel. It will be highlighted in

red.

•The student can then add talk or thought balloons in the same manner as adding characters.

To change the size of the balloons, the student can use the red arrows under the Menu Window.

•Next, there are other options for the student to add exciting effects. They are the

following:

•adding objects,

•number of panels for the comic,

•panel background colors, and

•panel prompts.

•Lastly, the student can print the comic or send it to the teacher’s email address.
