Make an origami star

1. Fold a square sheet of paper

in half to create a triangle.

Make a crisp, smooth crease in

the paper.

2. Fold in half again,

crease and open out

again to a triangle.

3. Place the left-hand corner over

the bottom corner and crease.

4. Turn over. 5. Repeat Step 3 on

the other side.

6. Fold corners

up to centre.

7. Unfold. 8. Turn over and

repeat Step 6.

9. Fold the top corner

down and crease.

10. Lift the bottom corner, push thumbs into

the corners, open out and fold as shown.

11. Turn over and repeat Step 10 on the

other side.

12. Fold the top corner down to the bottom

corner.

13. Turn over. 14. Rotate 180°.

15. Push a thumb into

the corner as show.

16. Move the top corner out to

the side and crease.

17. Repeat Step 15 with the

right-hand side.

18. Repeat Step 16 with the

right-hand side. Congratulations! You have made a star!
