We have bought a hatching machine and
we sell chicks and every member was
given three chicks as a start up for their
own production of eggs and meat to meethousehold nutrition and income.

Members contribute a once off fee from whichthey have bought a small hatching machine
and they also rear chicken for sale.
The capital is used to buy coffee mugs thatare sold during national celebrations. We use
part of this money to buy clothes for a child we
adopted.

association has adopted one of its major
ideas of savings and credits at the end ofthe year members share profits
accumulated thereof.

It does not focus on individual membersonly, it extends a helping hand to the needy
in the community such as support groups
and vulnerable children thus developing in
them a sense of self reliance. This ensures sustainability because these
children will grow with this idea instilled in
them therefore they will be able to pass it tothe next generation.
