1. Grid only application

The system charges and discharges from and to the grid. No load connected at all times. (Ausgrid principle);

2. Grid connected with passive loads support The system charges and discharges from and to the grid and backups the loads in case of blackout. (AEST principle);

3. Renewables variability mitigation Grid oriented The system keeps a constant current set point (≠0 A) on the grid side, charging and discharging the ZBM according to renewables generation. No load connected at all times;

4. Renewables variability mitigation Grid oriented with Backup The system keeps a constant power set point (≠0 kW) on the grid side, charging and discharging the ZBM according to renewables generation. The load is supported at all times and backed up;

5. Renewables peak shifting Grid oriented The system keeps 0 A constant current set point, charging with renewables during generation times and dumping into the grid the excess power. At the selected time, the system discharges into the grid. No loads connected at all times;

6. Renewables peak shift Grid oriented with Backup / Grid virtual disconnection

The system keeps 0 kW constant power set point on the grid side, charging and discharging according to renewables generation, supporting the loads and sourcing or dumping into the grid in case of excess power needed or generated. (Newington House principle);

7. RAPS The system is connected to a generator and supports a mini-grid with loads and renewables. The generator is started and stopped accordingly to battery SoC or power requested.
