Make Good Choices To:
•Accept Responsibility
•Value Self, Others, and Property

Patriot STAR is a PBS Program
PBS = Positive Behavior Supports
What is PBS all about?(Information from schools who have implemented a PBS program)
Children are caught being good.Focus on what we want students to do.
Very Proactive vs. Reactive.Students report feeling positive, safer, and respected.Parents report feeling more positive about the school.
Students greet adults and others in the building.Hallways are quieter.
Lunchrooms are less noisy.Teachers are talking about academics instead of
behaviors.
