Program Information
The large dish brings in German, Spanish and English language programs from Deutsche Welle.
Dutch BVN, Chinese New Tang Dynasty, Filipino TV and 48 International Channels from Dish Network come down via smaller dishes shown in enlargement.

Not only do we bring in programming, we also send it out. 15 channels originate from the racks in the LRC, pictured here. Programs appearing on our 15 channels are those requested by both faculty and students from the many we can receive.

More about using the VVR (Video View Room)
To watch live Satellite TV in the VVR, tell an LRC staff member which channel you want. Then turn on the projector and press the AUX button on the VVR remote control unit shown here.

More about MLB basement classrooms All odd-numbered
MLB basement classrooms have UMTV, the campus cable system. So you can see any of the 15 channels which originate in the LRC, 24-hours a day. A list of the current line up is posted on the wall near each TV. Just select “TV” on the TV.

More about UMTV on Campus
UMTV is available in over 80 Campus buildings including most University Housing Residence Halls, the Michigan Union, Michigan League, Fleming Building, Dental School, and Business School.
UMTV is also available in the MLB 3rd Floor Conference room. Phone the German Dept Main office, 764-8018 to schedule.
