2. This pocket chart center is geared toward learning colors, reviewing the sight words “I, see, can,

a , my”

3. This pocket chart center is also geared toward learning the vocabulary words “bird, colorful”.

4. Print off page 3 either on to different colored card stock or make copies and color the birds

yourself.

5. Print off either of the word cards and the color words. Neither need to be in color. Make sure you

make enough copies of the word cards to fill in the pocket chart.

6. Laminating all the pieces is recommended for stability and durability.

7. For further practice, have the students complete one of the worksheets below.
