- WIW The Mission To empower and develop female leaders in mobile
and digital media. This is done through leadership development,
mentoring, inspirational series of panels and webinars, job boards,
philanthropic support for relevant charities and networking
events.

- WIW Global Leadership Team Organization Chart &
Responsibilities The Global Leadership Team is responsible for the
continuing success of the Women in Wireless organization as
measured by membership growth, support of the mission, Women in
Wireless events, and the number of women represented in panels,
awards, executive positions, mentoring positions, etc. The Global
Leadership Team is led by two presidents who are responsible for
running the organization, coordinating committee efforts and
working with the Board of Advisors. They are supported by the
following committees: 1.Operations: manage the WiW marketing,
communications, website and the membership base 2.Local and
International Chapters: manage existing chapters and rolling out
new chapters 3.Networking: organize high quality networking events
4.Fundraising: secure funds related to networking events, as well
as the organization as a whole 5.Professional Development: organize
educational sessions and webinars; manage mentoring program 6.
Panels: organize and run panels at industry events and shows

- WIW Local Chapter Requirements & Responsibilities Local
Chapters embody the mission of Women in Wireless at a local level
through local educational and networking events and through
outreach to the local community and leadership. Chapters are
typically associated with a major city and should fulfill the
following requirements, per the Chapter Submission Form. 1.Minimum
of 4 chapter leaders 2.Database of 40 local area professionals
3.Formal sponsorship relationships and an ongoing pipeline
4.Minimum of 6 events and/or activities per calendar year a.One or
more mentoring / professional development event(s) b.Minimum of 2
sponsored (paid) events per year c.Participation in global events
including the Multi-City Networking Event
