They do not depend ou themselves byany means for a good show, as theyhold a full baud of trump cards in Prill-eum, Henry, .lose, Robaert, the greatliiirlcsi|ue Prima Donna of the day,

Franks and Marion, the acreItalic song and dance performers, and Keasley, the Musical King, whoplays huh a score of instruments equallywell, lvaddition to their songs, which,hy the way, come nearer the real old-fashioned melodies than any heard formany a day, they introduce a verylaughable piece called "Jealousy, 1 andwind up withv roaring afterpiece named"I'leasant Companions," which is one oftbe best things seen before thefootlightsof this kind. The peals of laughterwhich shook alike parquet, dress circleun.l gallery, and the remarks of the auriienee aa tbey passed out lo the effectthat this is the best minstrel showseen in l.os Angeles fur years, are factssullicicnt to insure the success ot thetroupe during their stay here.

It would be hard to speak of tbe per-formers, particularly without mentioningeach tarn where all was excellent. Mr.Cotton's "Little Log Bat" is a genuineplantation melody with all Ihe old ringin it. Mr. Birch's "fiet There AlltheSame" held the audience for nearly alullhall h "ii . Time and again be wasualled >0 his feel for one more verse. He introduced a lew local bils withhappy effect, which lie will ring somenotable changes on tn-tiight.
