Dr. Lisa DiBernardi graduated from Louisiana StateUniversity in 1999. Her internship followed at VeterinarySpecialists of South Florida. She went on to complete thefirst of two oncology residencies, one at Purdue Universityin medical oncology and a second at LSU in radiationoncology. Afterwards, she worked in San Antonio, Texas atGCVS's satellite clinic for one year. Dr. DiBernardi is one of asmall number of oncologists who are board certified in bothmedical and radiation oncology. In addition to seeingpatients, Dr. DiBernardi volunteers her professionalservices at special event venues with the canine detectionteams. She also has treated several cancer patients at theMiami Metro Zoo and Shy Wolf Sanctuary. Dr. DiBernardi'sprofessional interests include clinical pathology and painmanagement with a focus on improving the patient'squality of life.
