This refers to the inspection of goods by an independent third-party testing agency to ensure that the goods meet the national

requirements of the country of destination, and also helps the importer/exporter be aware of the latest requirements and trends at the port

of destination, thereby reducing the risk of rejection of the goods upon arrival. In addition, the customs of the importing countries require

the importer to provide a certificate of conformity from an accredited international certification company for clearance of the shipment.
