What is computer???

Computer is an electronic device that

process data according to sets of instruction

given to it.

Parts of the Computer

•System Unit

Also known as BASE UNIT. It is commonly referred to as the Central Processing Unit. Or CPU which is considered the brain of the computer.

•Monitor

The screen that looks like a television. This is where you can see the pictures, text, numbers and other actions you do while using the computer

Keyboard

A device that contain keys to enter data and instruction into a

computer. This includes the letters, numbers, symbols and

other special keys

Mouse

A pointing device that fits comfortable under the palm of your hands. It allow the user to control the movement of the pointer on the scren

Speaker

Other parts of the Computer

A device that allows us to hear sounds from the computer.

Printer

A device that prints text or graphics on paper.
