On February 25, 2016, Waukesha Composite Squadron Cadet, Major Olga Boukhvalova, attended Legislative Day on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. Along with Wisconsin Wing Commander, Colonel Rose Hunt and Government Relations Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Jack Faas, Cadet Major Boukhvalova partook in meetings with senators, congressmen, and congresswomen. She had a chance to tell them about the unique role of Civil Air Patrol in our nation and its impact on our youth, share her own experience with the program, and asks these important leaders to write appropriations requests for CAP. Throughout the day, Colonel Rose Hunt, Lieutenant Colonel Jack Faas and Cadet Major Boukhvalova were able to meet with 10 offices of senators and representatives:
