Contractors will electronically enter into the bid proposal, found at https://bids.lja.com, their proposed pricing and upload only the bid security. The Successful Bid-der, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most eco-nomical completion of the Project. Bid security in the form of bid bond or ca-shier’s check payable to Collin County Water Control and Improve-ment District No. 3 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid submitted, must accompany each Bid.

The requirements of Subchapter J, Chap-ter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and/or Contract and bidder/contractor agrees that the Con-tract can be terminated

if the bidder/contractor knowingly or inten-tionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
