ASSIGNMENTDESCRIPTION

AssignmentDescription

Selectionandcontractingwillnormallybemadefromresponsestothisrequestforexpressionofinterest.Theconsultantwillbeselectedfromashortlist,subjecttoavailabilityoffunding.

TheMinistryofAgricultureoftheRepublicofTajikistan(theClient),hasretainedIFCPPPTransactionAdvisory(IFC)topromoteinvestmentintothecoldstoragesectorinTajikistan.TheClientwillprovidewithlandaccessibletotransport,potablewaterandelectricity,andhelpinvestorsobtainpermits.Allnewfacilitiesshouldbecosteffective,takingintoaccountbothcapitalexpenditureandoperatingcosts,haveausefullifeofnotlessthan20years,andfollowbestpracticesforenvironmentalprotection.IFCisseekingproposalsfromlawfirms(theLawyers)qualifiedtopracticeinTajikistan,whoarewellexperiencedinthefiledoftheassignmentwishingtoadviseIFC.FUNDINGSOURCE

INDIVIDUAL/FIRMPROFILETheconsultantwillbeafirm.

SUBMISSIONREQUIREMENTSTheWorldBanknowinviteseligibleconsultantstoindicatetheirinterestinprovidingtheservices.Interestedconsultantsmustprovideinformationindicatingthattheyarequalifiedtoperformtheservices(brochures,descriptionofsimilarassignments,experienceinsimilarconditions,availabilityofappropriateskillsamongstaff,etc.forfirmsCVandcoverletterforindividuals).Pleasenotethatthetotalsizeofallattachmentsshouldbelessthan5MB.Consultantsmayassociatetoenhancetheirqualifications.
