The PURPOSE of Sunday School and Open Group Ministries of the Georgia Baptist Convention is to partner with churches and associations to produce GROWING HEALTHY GROUPS. The VISION of Sunday School and Open Group Ministries of the Georgia Baptist Convention is concentrated in four areas ministry.•GROWING HEALTHY SUNDAY SCHOOLS by equipping leaders and inspiring churches.•GROWING HEALTHY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS by training directors/teachers and emphasizing evangelism.•GROWING HEALTHY SMALL GROUPS by connecting leaders and building community.•GROWING HEALTHY CHURCHES by evaluating and recommending church facilities that allow for GROWING HEALTHY GROUPS.

association.2. Set – up time on Friday.3. Is there a fellowship meal for the team on Friday?4. Lodging needs for Friday night.5. Special instructions on what is being taught and

by whom.

Responsibilities of the Host Association1. SSOGM provided $2,000 to the host associations to assist with honorariums,

travel and lodging expenses for FIVE enlisted base leaders.2. The host association will pay the FIVE enlisted base leaders a minimum

honorarium of $225. The association will also coordinate and pay for any lodging needs and travel expenses for leadership.

3. If the host association enlists additional leadership, the association will be responsible for paying the honorarium, travel and lodging expenses of those leaders.

4. There will be a $5 registration cost for each person attending the event. This registration fee will be collected and retained by the SSOGM office. SSOGM will coordinate registration at the event as well as online registration prior to the event. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST COME THROUGH THE SSOGM OFFICE, even host church and host association registrations.

5. The local association and host church are under no obligation to provide any meals or snacks at these events. If the association or host church desires to provide refreshments, that cost will need to be covered by the association or church.
