Achieving Goal

+

Everyone has their own definition of success

+What is the right kind of success

Team Success: Clear and specific goal that bonds the team to ensure everyone feels ownership

towards it.

+If the team has a common definition of success, members have

• A strong shared vision • Clear measurable goals

in the team • Power to make better

decisions

+If the team do not have a common definition of success, member will

• feel irrelevant • might compete

against each other• always in resistance

+Review your recent team experiences, did you think you and your team had a common understanding of success?

If yes/no, What contributed to it? What made it work/not work?

+

The role of the leader is to then be able to facilitate the team to create this common

definition of success and to fully engage the team members towards it

+

The role of the team member is to then know their unique contribution towards the team success in order

to feel the ownership towards the bigger purpose.

+Set and

establish one clear MoS of the

team/entity

Together, create clear guidelines

required to achieve it

Activate the team with

respective tasks to achieve success

Review and track the team constantly to

ensure alignment
