Latinas are mostly micro-entrepreneurs having few or no

employees

There are about

787,914 Hispanic women-owned businesses in the U.S.

This shift in Latino businesses ownership has created a Latino

middle class

No longer living in barrios but are mainstreaming in middle class

neighborhoods

Latinas startsmall businessesstriving forfinancial independencefor their families

Revenues of these businesses have increased

57.8 percent since 2002

The estimated revenue of Hispanic women-owned firms across the U.S. totals $55.7 billion

There is a rise in organizations focused on Latina entrepreneurs

Latina’s are taking their place in leadership roles and are achieving roles in business that were unheard of even a decade ago.
