Technogenia produces high quality radial bearings using the Lasercarb® process. This unique technology applies a precise, metallurgical deposit to OD and ID surfaces for maximum anti-wear protection with no porosity or deformation.

The Lasercarb® system is CNC-controlled for an accurate and repeatable application of the powder. Multiple layers from .020-.065” can be applied to achieve desired build-up. Control of the HAZ (heat affected zone) by the laser process ensures the integrity of the bond with the base material.

Application-specific Technolase® powders with Spherotene® cast tungsten carbide and a Ni-Cr matrix combined with the high energy diode laser system produces a perfectly uniform weld pattern on virtually any component profile. The cast tungsten carbide exhibits a hardness factor of 3000HV +/- 500 for a high density deposit against abrasion, erosion and corrosion.
