The toward emotions are subtle, more easily displaced,
and harder to build on, than the away emotions
The brain has an overarching organizing principle to minimize danger ( an away response) and
maximize reward( toward response)
The away response is stronger, faster, and longer lasting than the toward response

Once an emotion kicks in, trying to suppress it either doesn't work or makes it worse
Suppressing an emotion reduces your memory of events significantly
Suppressing makes other people feel uncomfortable
Labelling an emotion can reduce limbic system arousal
Practicing assigning words to emotional states to reduce arousal once it kicks in helps

In the first session, we would cover how a coaching engagement with me would be with setting 3 primary goals, which will be the focus of the work ahead
We will co-create a framework to achieve each of your goals
In sessions 3 through 11, we will work with the framework for each goal
In Session 12, we will celebrate your progress, growth and learning.
