Obituary Jasmine Mikayla Perkins, a true angel, was born September 09, 1998 to Tajuana Lakeisha Perkins and Jeffery Sanders. She gained her wings on Friday, January 11, 2019. Jasmine graduated from Southern Lee High School in 2016. After graduation she went to work for Kelly Services (Coty).
Jasmine aka “Tweety Bird” will be remembered for her bright smile and ability to brighten any room she entered; most importantly her love for her family and friends. Although small, Jasmine was mighty. She was a protector to those she loved and cherished.
Jasmine was preceded in death by her sister, Jocelyn Perkins; niece, Kia'reena Perkins; grandmother, Gloria Jean Kelly; grandfather, Curtis Edward Perkins; grandmother, Dorothy Rose Rowland Sanders; great grandparents, Ruthia Mae and Carl Matthews; and great great grandparents, Alfred and Mary O. Fuller.
Jasmine will be remembered by her family that loves and cares for her dearly. Her loving and bubbly spirit will be greatly missed by her strong and resilient mother, Tajuana Perkins; her father and confidant, Jeffery Sanders; four very protective brothers: Damier Adams, Sanford, NC; Elijah Buxton, Raeford, NC; Jeffery Smith, Raeford, NC; De-Kemon McNatt , Raeford, NC; one grandmother: Laura Perkins, Sanford, NC; grandfather, David Jackson, Sanford, NC; six aunts: Carlitha Matthews, Brandywine, MD; Shalonda Matthews, Midlothian, VA, Anya McGilvery, Sanford, NC; Nadine Sanders-McLean (Andre), Raeford, NC; Trina Richardson (Lee), Raeford, NC; Treavia Kay Sanders, Parkton, NC; one great aunt, Phyllis Henry, Sanford, NC; four uncles: David Perkins (Kim), High Point, NC; William Bethea, Raeford, NC; Jerry Bethea, Raeford, NC; David Earl Sanders, Lillington, NC; and a special friend, Nijshua Clark; three special cousins, Tyra Marsh, Alexis Matthews and Quashayla Cotton and a host of other relatives and friends.
Obituary Jocelyn was born January 24, 1996 to Tajuana Lakeisha Perkins and John Edward Blue Jr.
Jocelyn attended Western Harnett High School. Jocelyn will be remembered by her loving spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. She was very attentive and a loving mother to her baby girl. Jocelyn aka “Joc” was very special in many ways; that smile and those sparkly eyes explained what type of person she was; beautiful inside and out.
Jocelyn were preceded in death by her daughter, Kia'reena Perkins; her sister, Jasmine Perkins; grandmother, Gloria Matthews Kelly; grandfather, Curtis Edward Perkins; great grandparents, Ruthia Mae and Carl Matthews; and great great grandparents, Alfred and Mary O. Fuller.
She leaves to mourn her mother, Tajuana Perkins, Cameron, NC; her father & best friend, John Blue Jr., Raeford, NC; three brothers, Damier Adams, Sanford, NC; Deonte Matthews, Laurinburg, NC; and Damion Rogers, Wagram, NC; two sisters: Johnisha McPhaul, Raeford, NC, and Jyneria McDonald, Raeford; grandmother, Laura Perkins, Sanford, NC; grand-mother and grandfather, Betty Blue and John Blue Sr. both of Wagram, NC; grandfather, David Jackson of Sanford, NC; three aunts, Carlitha Matthews, Maryland, NC, Shalonda Matthews, Midlothian, VA, Veronica Blue, Raeford, NC; three uncles, David Perkins (Kim), High Point, NC, Steve Graham (Shanda), South-ern Pines and Mark Graham (Tamilia), Wagram, NC; one great aunt: Phyllis Henry, Sanford, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Precious angel, Kia'reena Nevaeh Perkins, age 6 months, was born on June 30, 2018 and gained her wings on Friday, January 11, 2019.
During her short time on earth, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on as the memories will be cherished forever.
Kia'reena leaves to mourn her grandparents, Tajuana Perkins and John Blue; great grandfather, David Jackson of Sanford, NC; three uncles, Damier Adams, Deonte Matthews, and Damion Rogers; two aunts, Jonisha McPhaul and Jyneria McDonald; great grandparents, Betty and John Blue and a host of other relatives.
