Announcements
Love Offering - A love offering will be received for our staff to express our appreciation and love. This offering will be received November 29th through December 13th and distributed equally among Trent, Melissa, Joe, Patty, Dana and Ann. The preschool board will recognize Christi and our preschool staff. If you wish to contribute, please mark your envelope as “Love Offering.” Church Budget - The Finance committee is presently reviewing the budget by line item and we need your input. If you are responsible for any line items associated with the budget, we would like for you to present your request as soon as possible. Please contact Bill Scanlon at 919-217-6027 with your requests. Backpack Buddies - We are currently in need of breakfast bars, canned pasta, like Chef Boyardee, Chicken Noodle Soup, or Spaghettios (16 oz. or less), and ready-made pudding packs. PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS ARE NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME! Thank you so much for supporting this local ministry! Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, December 3rd at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. Knightdale Christmas Parade - Saturday, December 5th at 2:00 PM. Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal - December 9th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Arrival anytime between 5:30 and 6:30 pm). The menu will be: Spiral Sliced Ham, Candied Yams, Green Beans, Yeast Rolls, Homemade Desserts and Beverages (Cheese Pizza always available). Reservations/cancellations must be made by noon on Monday, December 7th. Call the church office to make reservations at 919-266-2471 or by completing the “Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal” section on the back of the Welcome card, located in the back of your pew, and drop it in the offering plate. Please make sure to write your name on the card. Cost for the meal is: adults (10-up) $5.00, children (4-9) $2.00 and children 3 and under eat free (Max charge per family - $20.00). Lottie Moon/Global Missions - The Church Post Office is ready for you to send Christmas cards to church members. Please put your postage money in your offering envelope and mark it “postage for” - Lottie Moon or Global Missions. In addition to postage money for Missions, envelopes are available for your regular offering to Lottie Moon and CBF Global Missions. These offerings can be made through the month of December. November 29th - December 6th is the week of prayer for International Missions and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Flowers - Please enjoy the beautiful flowers in the sanctuary this Christmas Season! A new flower calendar is up outside the church office for you to sign up for your special day in 2015. Faith Challenger’s Tea Party - Monday, December 14th at 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. New Committee - Are you willing to invest in the future of our church? We are looking for members to serve on our new Children and Youth Committee. This committee will replace the current team structure, adding increased accountability and communication. If you wish to be involved in supporting the ongoing ministry of the children and youth departments of KBC, please contact Pastor Trent.
