Kate Rumboll Deputy School Improvement Manager   krumboll@buckscc.gov.uk 

Kate is currently a Deputy School Improvement 

Manager for Buckinghamshire School Improvement 

Service. She has a broad and diverse professional 

career having taught pupils from 5‐13 prior to taking 

up post in two local authorities providing support to 

schools. Previous roles have included, Primary 

Manager for Leadership, Standards and Quality in 

Buckinghamshire where she managed the team of 

advisers and consultants who provide support to 

schools including those in challenging 

circumstances.She is an accreditated School 

Improvement Partner and has worked for the past 

seven years for Buckinghamshire LA supporting a 

range of schools. Prior to taking up post in 

Buckinghamshire she worked as a Literacy Consultant 

and then as the Literacy Primary Manager for 

Oxfordshire managing the team tasked with providing 

support to develop English provision. Kate is an 

accreditated Ofsted Inspector and a Leadership 

Mentor for NCSL on the Leading Pathways 

programme.
