The National Center for DWI Courts (NCDC) is proud to present the newest edition of The Bottom Line, our premiere publication on significant issues and information regarding DWI Courts. NCDC has completed a year-long analysis of DWI Court research and the results show that DWI Courts significantly reduce recidivism and crashes, while providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional sentencing.

In 2012, the Campbell Collaboration reviewed 28 program evaluations and concluded that DWI Courts reduced both DWI recidivism and general recidivism by as much as 50 to 60 percent as compared to other sentencing options. In 2013, the National Transportation Safety Board endorsed DWI Courts as a proven strategy for rehabilitating repeat DWI offenders.Thepublication can be found at www.NCDWICourts.org
