Conclusions In the Russian Federation since 1997 the annual

contest for the prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality is being held.

But the model and criteria of Russian national quality award have become the tool of improving the activity for a minor number of companies.

It is necessary the government supports the process of involving Russian companies to participate in national quality contests.
