This fund raising event is in honor of a very special 9 year old boy named Alex. He was diagnosed with Duchenne, which is an extremely rare form of MD when he was only 5. Alex is a happy, well adjusted young man residing locally. Currently there is no cure for Duchenne. Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy or PPMD is an organization that provides medical care, support, information and knowledge to families that are challenged by MD.
