Social Information Processing Theory
The Social Information Processing theory tells us how people will develop relationships that would have never come along if there was not advanced technology, due to geographical location.
Even though some relationships may start to complete a task over a platform, many grow to have strong bonds, even though they may take longer to form than in person.
This theory has a lot to do with online relationships and how they form.

Nowadays, people can meet other people with the swipe of a thumb on their mobile phone, and then start a strictly looks-based relationship with help from the app Tinder, among others.
The advancement of technology will make it easier for people to meet in various ways in the future.

Long Tail
The theory of Long Tail explains that people are shifting away from hits, and wanting to become more of a niche group in the tail of a product. For example, listening to music as a whole turns into only listening to streaming online music in the tail.

Future trend
Long tail theory will play a role in the future by making people shift away from using phones as a whole such as landlines and cell phones, and leaning toward using only cell phones.

In essence, the Social Learning theory argues that people learn from one another, whether it be from observation, or imitation.

Future Trend
We can formulate a future outcome from these theories by looking at how they go together, the social learning theory tells us that people will learn from one other. This tells me that people will learn to conform to others beliefs and practices.
For example, as the new iPhones are released, people want the newest version because of the perception they have when seeing others have one.
I see the mass majority of people grow in the same ways on a technological based standpoint.
Conclusion
Based on these theories, I believe that some of the technology we have today will survive but become more advanced, such as the telephone, laptop, and television. But I can see other communication technology vanishing, such as email and the use of a landline phone.
With these theories combined, people will learn from each other and they will follow in the footsteps of the younger generation for the use of technology, as people do today.
