FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: John Bal nycjohn123@msn.com (212) 966-7576 Note: Statements herein are supported by attached court documents POLICE HERO NAMES NYS SUPREME COURT JUDGE IN COVER-UP OF MASSIVE TAX FRAUD AND EMBEZZLEMENT CONSPIRACY Former New York City decorated cop JOHN BAL alleges JUDGE DEBRA A. JAMES of the New York State Supreme Court in New York County took part in covering up an $107 million tax fraud and an embezzlement in which BAL personally lost $56,650 flimflammed by co-conspirators ITEX Corporation (ITEX) and NYTO Trade Incorporation (NYTO). Bal said, "ITEX's and NYTO's $107 million tax fraud cheated New Yorkers out of services for children, fire and police protection, and other services. BAL is the plaintiff in a lawsuit against ITEX and NYTO and will demand that JUDGE JAMES recuse herself from his case and refer this matter for a criminal investigation when he goes before her Tuesday, July 9, 2013, 2:30 PM, at 71 Thomas Street (corner of West Broadway), New York, NY. BAL is among a growing number of persons representing themselves in court. Federal, state, and city courts have established special offices to assist non-lawyers with the prosecution of their lawsuits. ITEX has a history of fraud. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission prosecuted ITEX and its executives multiple times for fraudulent acts. BAL says JUDGE JAMES violated state laws and fabricated evidence to cover-up both the $107 million tax fraud and $56,650 embezzlement. BAL is not alone. Ten lawyers have complained that Judge James is incompetent and should be removed from the bench (see http://www.therobingroom.com/newyork/Judge.aspx?id=552). BAL, a personal friend of Detective Frank Serpico of Knapp Commission, book, and movie fame was dismissed from the Police Department in 1972. Judge Emilio Nunez of the Appellate Division, First Department, stated, "Bal shared with Serpico a belief and concern for reform in the Police Department. I cannot help but wonder whether this was a factor in . . . Bal's dismissal." # # #
