Customer focused at all times.
Required to hold current Managers Certificate & to maintain renewal
requirements.
To manage staff effectively by
o Ensuring that the Companys high standards of customer service are
maintained at all times.
o To ensure training initiatives and policy updates are communicated to
all relevant staff.
o All company polices and procedures are adhered to and enforced.
o There is a positive, open line of communication amongst all staff &

o Ensuring that staff are consistently up-selling products & promotional

Adhering to security and safety responsibilities of the premises, staff, and
customers as advised by upper management and the Directors.
Managing customer complaints appropriately for the staff and reporting to the
General Manager the issue and outcome.
Cashing up and analysis of till reports as required adhering to company cash
handling procedures.
Carry out all duties as described in Bar/Floor Staff and Kitchen Hand Job

LOUNGE MANAGER/MANAGER ON DUTY
This position is responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling of lounge employees. Also for liquor inventory and control. He/she as the Manager on Duty will act as the representative of the General Manager when beginning their tour of duty. When a problem develops in the hotel, restaurant, lounge, public rooms or on the grounds which cannot be satisfactorily handled by the appropriate dept head, the MOD will automatically be called and assume the role of intermediary. The MOD's task will be to respond to any guest(s) issues. Candidates must have experience as manager or supervisor preferably in a hotel environment. Must have excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills and high level of communication, both written and verbal.
