In Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) I had used BizTalk to integrate B2C and b2B solutions for a large international retail chain, inter-company services, products, and materials exchange. Also, I had designed and implemented integration solutions by using custom made web services.

My background and experience as a developer and database expert helped me create a solid reputation as IT security expert. I had the opportunity to design and implement identity management solutions, security risk assessment applications and I had built meta-directory solutions using Forefront Identity Management (FIM). Also, I had helped development teams to integrate native authentication, custom authentication, and claims based authentication and authorization into their solutions.
Among several other solutions, I also had a prominent role designing and implementing security controls for the solution that publish the Costa Rica National and cantonal election data during national Election Day as support for the electoral authority (TSE) since 2006. Also, I oversaw design the digital signature part of the solution, design the backend data capture solution, report building, and publishing solution and train the TSE’s development team to move from ORACLE technology to Microsoft platform using SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, and dot-Net platform during at least three elections.

Looking for the perfect set of skills as a solution architect and in response to corporate and government demands as Certified Solution Developer and ITPRO, I had deep knowledge designing and implementing SharePoint-based collaboration solutions, even adding and integrating new and legacy solutions to corporate intranet and internet farms.

I had built a strong knowledge and experience in all phases of the application lifecycle during my years as
development team consultant. From gathering requirements, designing, building, testing, deployment, operation,

During the last 25 years, I had the opportunity to build and deploy: Command line tools, Windows-based client

and factory and process automation in Costa Rica. Was a side project for one EX-IBM and GBM executive those
years later returned to GBM and close the operation of Diginet and other three sister companies.
During six years: I started as a developer in charge of client-side applications and then move to the integration of
heterogeneous platforms and ended as system and solution designer. Working in small to large projects integrating
automatic ID systems, building networks of devices using legacy communication protocols, integration, and control
of industrial process controllers and then working in as architect for the first generation of build in Costa Rica
solutions that use the new “Internet” for commercial and industrial proposes.
