Senna becomes a great personality because…

..he became a living example of dedication and success. The Institute that has his name carries important social action in Brazil.

Infance On March 21, 1960 a boy was born in the

northern city of Sao Paulo.

Son of a family owed an automotive components company, a distributor of

beverages and cattle ranches.

Thus began the history of Ayrton Senna da Silva.

It was a very focused kid. He was very hyperactive, the school was not his forte.

He lived in the midst of des car early.His father built his first kart with impressive 1hp.

Senna wanted to be like his hero of formula 1: Jim Clark.

His father promised to give a real kart

when completed 10 years old.

KART

Officially began competind in karting events at thirteen.

After finishing as runner-up on several occasions, in 1977 won the South American Championship Kart and also in 1978 and 1980.

It was Brazilian kart champion in 1977, 1978 and 1980.

In 1981 he went to the British Formula Ford where he won 11 of 19 races.

He won the championships in anticipation European and British Formula Ford(1982).

It became British Formula 3 champion (1983), with nine consecutive victories, aworld record.

F1

Senna joined the Toleman Formula 1 team in 1984.

• In 1982 he was at Lotus, where the team played three seasons and won his first big-prize.

Hired by McLaren (1988), Senna won his first world championship.

In 1989 he was runner-up behind Frenchman Alain Prost, his teammate.

And he won in both 1990 and 1991 seasons.

It was called "Rain King" by the ability to drive on wet and "Mr. Monaco" for his five consecutive wins in this circuit.

Williams in 1994 was his last team, and that same year suffered a fatal accident in F1.

Senna died when crashing into a wall of protection to 300km / h, the curve Tamborello, the seventh lap of the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, Italy.
