Movement
Last Decade of 18th Century
“Malthus” an economist, calculate the ratio
between population and resources
He written a booklet on family planning “An
Essay on Population and as it effects the future
improvement of society”
This movement was the result of “Industrial
Revolution”

Francis Place , Dr.Charles Knowlton was the
ideological leader
1st book published on family planning was
“The Fruits of Philosophy”
In 19th century a new movement was started in
England named as Neo-Malthism Movement
Dr. Drys Dale made an association for
awareness about the Family Planning in 1877

published
175000 copies of this book was sell
In 1881 this movement reached in Holland,
Belgium, Germany and France
Different associations and Birth Control Clinics
was established in European countries
Now a days this is the successful movement
all over the world
Reasons of this movement
Industrial Revolution
Migration towards cities
Increase of competition
Up gradation of life quality
Enhancement in needs
High inflation rate
Less houses and high fairs

planning:
England: After 1st W.W made “National Birth Rate
Commission”
23 top class researchers of education , sociology, economics, statistics and religion was the part of this commission
Report theme was :
“England should take a notice of low fertility rate and should try to increase fertility rate to maximum level. If this decrease in fertility couldn't stop than England will become the power of Grade 4 in the world. ”

Suggestions of Commission:
1. Allounce should given to the families with
respect to children
2. Tax rates should low for marital couple
3. Different schemes should start for increase in
fertility rates
4. Artificial insemination methods should use to
increase the population
France:
French government launched a movement of
“National alliance for the increase of
population”
Banned the education of birth control methods
Dozens of rules made for increase in
population
E.g. medals were awarded to those couples
having more than 12 children
Between 1938 to 1954 increase in population
was 26 %
Germany:
“If our ratio of birth decreased day by day than there is a fear that our nation will disappeared ”
Marriage loans given to the unmarried people
Italy: Banned the birth control methods
Sweden: In 1935 made a commission to suggest the
methods to increase the fertility rate

Islamic point of viewALLAH says in Quran
هم كان نرزقهم وإياكم إن قتل ول تقتلوا أولدكم خشية إملق نحن خطئا كبيرا
“Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you: verily the killing of them is a great sin”.
(Surah Bani Israel 17:31)
﴾20:50﴿دىقال ربنا الذي أعطى كل شيء خلقه ثم ه
“Our Lord is He who has given a distinctive form
to everything and then guided it aright.”
(Surah Ta’ha 50)
ل يهدي القوم إن الل ن اتبع هواه بغير هدى من الل ومن أضل مم﴾28:50الظالمين﴿
“And who could go farther astray than the one who
follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah ?
Allah does not at all guide such wicked people.”
(Surah al-qasas 50)
(65:1) ف ه ومن يتعد حدود الل قد ظلم ن
And he who transgresses the bounds set by
Allah commits a wrong against himself.
(Surah al-talaq 1)
ها بغ ر الذين قتلوا أولدهم قد خ موا ما رزقهم الل ير علم وحر قد ضلوا وما كانوا مهت ﴾6:140﴿دين افتراء على الل
Those who slayed their children in folly, without
Knowledge, and forbade the sustenance that Allah has
provided them, falsely ascribing that to Allah, are utter
losers; they have gone astray, and are certainly not
among those guided to the right way.
(Surah al-inaam 140)
(4:119) يرن خلق الل ولمرنهم فليغ
And they will disfigure Allah's
creation.
(Surah al-nisa 119)
SOLUTIONS
1. Total population is 7,209,033,000 and total
area of earth is 5,71,68000 square mile. So,
135 people per square mile, it means near
about 5 Acer per person. (1 football ground
have 1.5 Acer) 3.3 football grounds per
person.
2. Only 28% land is arable
3. Production can increase 10 times by using
scientific techniques to the whole world
