Lecture 3: Scientific Methods-I

This module deals with the debates on scientific methods based on the questions regarding deduction and induction, logical positivism, empiricism and Falsification. The class will discuss how the difference between science and non-science was imagined and how the question of method played critical role in this debate. The discussion will be centered around the crucial questions regarding facts, reality and truth as debated in scholarship in relation to the scientific method.
