Listing Files: ls ls -F
Shows a special character at the end of the file
indicating what it's type is. / means directory, *
means program.
ls -l
Long listing: Shows permissions, ownership,
modification time, and size in bytes.
ls -a Shows hidden files, i.e. files beginning with .
ls -d
Does not list the contents of a directory, but tellsou about the director itself.

files are, the ones I can see and modify).Starts with a /, that makes it an "absolute
path."
