matsya, challenged her to learn, unlearn & accomplish. Tweeked her sense of design, questioned her structured ways and let her loose to find solutions in the simplest of things.

A helping hand in the organization, a moment capturer and a copy wright for the very first time!

Explains the heart of it all, helps you understand a tad bit better! The block printing workshop did exactly that.

Through the giggles, the excitement and all that colour happened a deep seated learning. Held by the urban block printer, Shyamala Rao amidst her abode of blocks.

A few crazy hearts printing everything from paper to dresses. Learning about daboo, ajrakh and the age old traditions of block printing,

Overlapping colours and some contemporary prints opened the mind, widened horizons and brought in something new.

The beginning, a dragonfly, some fabric yoyos and a few terracotta beads and there emerged bouts of contrast!

Oodles of colour! And some fun animals! Birdies and fishes butterfly and snail. A Christmas tree with a star atop! Hang 'em and add a cheer!
