• Provide information about the sea coastline and ecological environment near the sea,

• Teach the people to love their motherland and make this place more interesting for others through the art activities

The project goal:

• to maintain the national identity, its culture and traditions by organizing the Festival of joint choruses on topic about the Sea

Festival of the Sea Songs

The events planned within the project:• Festival of the Sea Songs for thejoint choruses

in different places in Jurmala,• Exhibition of Kaugurciems history in Kauguri,• Promotion of songs about the sea written by

Latvian componists,• Theatre performances on the theme about the

sea and fishermen daily life (in association with Jurmala Theatre)

are expected to be:

• The joint choruses from Latvia and all the other cities located at the coast of the sea

• The joint choruses from the Twinning cities of Jurmala
