What is Midwest?

● Held in Chicago● Began in 1946 as a 6 hour meeting of

120 music directors in a YMCA gym● Exists today as the largest conference

of it’s kind with over 17,000+ attendees annually

● Over 40 concerts, 90 clinics, 400+ companies, colleges, and other exhibitors in 75,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall

● Takes place at the McCormick Place Convention Center

● Instrumental Music Teachers ● Fine Arts Administrators ● Professional and Amateur
