CHALLENGE: CHALLENGE: For this project, i had the challenge of designing a kitchen for an apartment which should include basic amenities from hob, fridge, sufficient storage, dish washer, washing machine etc and also the provision for eating area without hampering the kitchen activities.

SOSOLUTION: To overcome the challenge of designing a kitchen, I followed the TRIANGLE concept i.e. cooking, washing and storage should be placed in such a manner that it should form a triangle. Each space was designed keeping in mind its usability from giving a separate area for washing, a long cabi-net with microwave and oven, convectional chim-ney, and a separate eating place that dosent hamper the kitchen activities keeping in mind the aesthetical aspects as well.

CHALLENGE: For this project, we were asked to design the room for two kids below 10 years of age-with a concept and appropriate anthropometric data.

SOLUTION: Since the project was to be designed for kids, it altogether had a different approach from other projects as the predictability of usage was less as compared to the others. The concept taken for this project was MOON and SPACE creating an am-bience that was not to childish nor too mature keeping a balance between the two. Each space wwas designed keeeping in mind the anthropometric data and the usability of space.
