The Denver metro area was more like Seattle for about a week as persistent rain fell. The morning of graduation was no exception, though there was something of a break by mid-afternoon. That proved a short-lived respite, as rain turned to snow during the late afternoon and into the evening.

The commencement program featured numerous speakers, including (clockwise from top) Alex Girard, associate dean for the School of Professional Studies and Sciences, who presided over the program; Dr. Bobby Pace who gave the faculty remarks ... and received a gift from one of his students; Janet Brandau, vice president of Academic Affairs, who presented the graduates; Chau Tran, a concurrent enrollment student and associate degree recipient, who delivered the student remarks.
