IntroductionIntegrated Library Solution (ILS) is the first software in its nature being launched by few libraries in Pakistan recently, it is a web based Indigenous software designed for automation and Digitization for all kind of library material. Total Modules are 19, which are further divided in sub module. Its development is steered by a growing community of Library Professionals and Software Engineers collaborating to achieve their technology goals. The ILS feature set continues to evolve and expand to meet the needs of its user base.

ILS Digital Library System

ILS is a suite of software for building and distributing digital library collections. It provides a new way of organizing information and publishing it on the Internet or on CD-ROM.

Document Formats Source documents come in a variety of formats, and are converted into a standard XML form for indexing by “plugins.” Plugins distributed with ILS Digital process plain text, HTML, WORD and PDF documents, and Usenet and E-mail messages.
