Installing Symantec AntiVirus 1. First, uninstall existing virus protection software (even it is a Symantec product). Download

"SAV.zip" and uncompress the archive. Open "SAV" folder and double click "Symantec AntiVirus.msi". 2. InstallShield Wizard runs.

3. Click [Next ].

4. Choose "I accept …" and click [Next] button.

5. Select "Client Install" and click [Next].

6. Select "Complete" installation and click [Next].

7. Choose "Unmanaged" network and click [Next].

8. Click [Next]. (Both "Auto-Protect" and "Run LiveUpdate" should be checked)

9. Click [Install].

10. Wait 5-10 minutes.

11. Click [Finish].

12. "LiveUpdate" program is automatically started. Click [Next]. (You have to connect your PC to the Internet at this stage)

13. The program downloads updates from Symantec's server.

14. Wait until "LiveUpdate successfully…" message appeared. All items should be checked.

15. Latest "Virus Definition" and update programs are automatically installed.

16. From "Start" menu, select [Symantec Client Security] -> [Symantec AntiVirus].

17. From [File] menu, choose [Schedule Updates…].

18. Choose "Enable scheduled automatic updates" and click [Schedule…] button.

19. Change settings as follows and click [OK].
