Our Vision Latest news…..
App Update—I am pleased to tell you that our school App has been updated in the last week
and it now gives you instant access to the children’s class pages. After some feedback from some
parents, we realised that not having the children’s learning for the following week in reading
diaries was causing some problems as you had to physically log on to the school website.
However, after speaking with the App provider, you can now get access to all these pages on
there making it so easy to see what your child is learning in school. These pages not only tell
you about next weeks learning in school, but also homework pages to complete and will often
showcase some great learning. Please download the App on to your smart phones if you have
not already as you will receive notifications when new events are added to the calendar and you
can access the weekly newsletter there.
School Uniform—Tesco have asked me to let you know that they will no longer be providing
school uniform on their normal Tesco website. You can now go direct to the company that
always provided the uniform but used Tesco platform to do so. There is a leaflet attached. The
new web address is www.myclothing.com You can get uniform from here as well as SK Uniform.
Fundraising– Thank you so much today for all the donations of clothes for The Geoff Horsfield
Foundation. I was overwhelmed with how much we have had. It is a really worthy cause so
thank you for your support. Remember raffle tickets are on sale all next week for the children
to buy to win the Valentines Prize. All money raised will go to The Ronald McDonald House.
Date Error—On last week’s newsletter I put that we had non-uniform on the 15th February for
chocolate donations but this is in fact the 15th March. The date has been amended on the
school calendar.
School Disco-Tonight is the spring term discos. KS1—4.15pm-5.15pm KS2—5.30pm-
