Style Defining Element

Role Storming Select a specific real or fictional character. Brainstorm from that point of view.

Long List Brainstorm as many ideas as possible (100+). Creativity occurs after known ideas are on the list.

Opposites Consider the exact opposite of what is normal.

Brand-Storming Select a specific brand. Brainstorm from that point of view.

Brainstorming Rules from IDEO

1. Defer judgment

2. Encourage wild ideas

3. Build on the ideas of others

4. Stay focused on the topic

5. One conversation at a time

6. Be visual

7. Go for quantity

Break into groups of 4-5 people

Brainstorm topic: What innovative action can you do this year to remain relevant with your target audiences?

Brainstorm Style: The long list – generate as many ideas as possible. Aim for 75!

Brainstorm on paper & we'll capture to share with everyone.
